Senior Directors

Richard Lang & Son Ltd— founded in Derby in 1949 by Richard Lang — began life trading German cuckoo clocks and has since flourished into a leading family-owned import and wholesale business specialising in giftware and home décor. Richard’s son, Rolf Lang, later took the reins as managing director before retiring in April 2024.

Since March 2020, the company leadership has been exceptionally stable and committed:

Each of these directors is a longstanding member of the Richard Lang team, sharing deep experience and dedication that keep the company’s heritage moving forward. With their leadership, the Langs name carries over seven decades of dedication, creativity, and pride into its future.
